ESP8285 = ESP8266 + 1M Flash, can withstand high temperatures up to 125 degrees C and can be used as ESP8266.
The ESP-M2 module's core processor uses the cost-effective ESP8285 chip. The chip integrates an enhanced version of Tensilica's 32-bit L106 Diamond Series core processor in a smaller package with SRAM on chip. ESP8285 has the full capabilities of a Wi-Fi network, either a standalone application or as a slave mounted on another server MCU running. When ESP8285 stores an application, it can be launched directly from external Flash. Integrated cache memory helps improve system performance and optimize storage system. In addition, the ESP8285 can be used as a Wi-Fi adapter via the SPI / SDIO interface or the I2C / UART port for all microcontroller-based designs.
- Serial port with WiFi;
- Extremely low long-distance power consumption;
- Resistant to high temperatures to 125 ° C
- Fully compatible with ESP8266, the source code can be used as it is now.
